Some of these include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The&nbsp;<strong>European Green Deal<\/strong>, which aims to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transport by 90%.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>Connecting Europe Facility<\/strong>, which provides funding for key transport infrastructure projects that enhance cross-border connectivity and interoperability.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>Digital Single Market<\/strong>, which fosters innovation and digitalisation in transport and logistics services, such as intelligent transport systems, e-commerce and e-freight.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>Single European Sky<\/strong>, which harmonises air traffic management across Europe and improves safety, capacity and environmental performance of aviation.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>European Maritime Single Window<\/strong>, which simplifies administrative procedures for maritime transport and facilitates trade and customs clearance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a recent study by Fraunhofer IIS, the\u00a0<strong>TOP 100 in European Transport and Logistics Services 2021\u20132022<\/strong>\u00a0are identified the following trends and challenges for the sector:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The&nbsp;<strong>COVID-19 pandemic<\/strong>, which has disrupted global supply chains and demand patterns, as well as accelerated digital transformation and e-commerce growth.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>Brexit<\/strong>, which has created new trade barriers and uncertainties for transport and logistics operators between the UK and the EU.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>energy transition<\/strong>, which requires a shift to low-carbon and renewable fuels and technologies, as well as new business models and partnerships.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>urban mobility<\/strong>, which demands more integrated, multimodal and smart solutions for urban transport and logistics, as well as social inclusion and accessibility.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So, the European Union is a dynamic market, BUT even more so, a highly regularized one ESPECIALLY when it comes to transporting medicine, vaccines and medical equipment.
